Yunnan Sparking Science and Technology Co.,Ltd.is a national high-tech enterprise and a specialized and sophisticated SME, integrating the R&D, production, and sales of flavors and fragrances, tobacco carrier materials, and e-cigarette atomized
substances. It is a core 、supplier of flavors and fragrances to China's tobacco industry. The company focuses on the development and utilization of Yunnan's superior biological resources, with targeted extraction and targeted application as its
technological backbone. Its business spans both traditional tobacco and novel tobacco sectors domestically and internationally. Headquartered in Kunming, Yunnan, the company has established a branch in Shenzhen and a sensory research
institute in Shanghai, and operates a 3,500 m² food-grade standard production workshop.

Established in July 2019 in Building A of the Ciba Biotechnology Innovation Center in Kunming, Yunnan Province, with a floor area of 3,000 m², the facility houses five specialized laboratories—Natural Plant Extraction, Cigarette New Materials, Biological Flavoring, E-cigarette Atomized Substances, and Analytical Testing—along with a supporting pilot plant for flavors and fragrances. The Kunming headquarters focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of raw and auxiliary materials for the traditional tobacco industry, serving over 20 Chinese tobacco industrial enterprises and renowned international tobacco companies.

Established in October 2021, the Shenzhen branch primarily focuses on sales, technical R&D, and service for novel tobacco e-cigarette atomized substances. Its business covers leading domestic licensed e-cigarette enterprises as well as renowned international tobacco companies.

Established in March 2025 and located in the Alade Science Park in the Haiwan Tourism Area of Fengxian District, Shanghai, adjacent to Shanghai Institute of Technology, it is an institution dedicated to the innovative R&D of flavors and fragrances. In September 2025, a joint laboratory was established with Shanghai Institute of Technology, and in May 2026, it was officially renamed "Sparking Science Research Institute."
